WEDDING CEREMONIES

Ceremony music should have a significant or spiritual quality that speaks to the bride and groom and symbolizes the depth of their commitment. There are many musical options to suit your preference. We will help you select the perfect music for your Ceremony it with a typed plan.

Ceremony sound - For events when we are booked for both Ceremony & Reception (DJ or  Soulstice) we can include a package of wireless microphones for minister and groom, a standing microphone for any readings plus a sound technician to greatly improve the audibility of the ceremony for a small fee.

Cocktail music options following your ceremony.  We can add an additional flavor of Santa Fe into the cocktail hour with one of Santa Fe's Live Musicians -  Mariachi bands or Spanish music  Latin Cuban Trio are local favorites.

Vicky is much more than a music planner, she serves as a wedding coordinator, a support system during the stressful times of the wedding, and about that is a true visionary. We had an indian wedding with multiple parts and multiple non-traditional music needs. She had a stand built so that the DJ could lead the groom on his horse during the ceremony. She sat with our families and went song by song for each day and each event to ensure every detail was perfect. We had a lot of Indian music, and she obtained it all, and made sure the order was perfect. For our main reception, she ensured that the mix of American music, Indian music, slow, fast etc was perfect to keep everyone on the dance floor. She would even edit the songs, shortening them as we wanted to maximize the number of songs  we wanted for each. I assure you there is NO one else better than Vicky. she is a true expert and not only will sit down with you and go through song by song to ensure that everything is perfect, she has a vision for the whole event that will ensure all the guests enjoy themselves. There were so many things that I didn't even think about in the planning process, but her dedication to the details ensured that everything was absolutely perfect. She helped us plan our Indian parade through the plaza of Santa Fe, and because she has been in the business for so long, there is nothing that she doesn't know. She helped us with so much more than music, and knows everyone else in the business and ensures things are taken care of. I can't tell you how reassuring it was knowing everything was in her hands. "Vicky with Absolute E is awesome! She is very professional and very seasoned, she has a lot of experience in what she doing which is always so helpful. We hired AE for our ceremony string quartet and also for a mariachi band to take all the guests around the Santa Fe plaza and then they continued to play for the cocktail hour. 

First off, if you plan to get married in Santa Fe, on or close to the Plaza, YOU MUST HAVE A MARIACHI BAND PARADE! It was seriously so fun and all the guests LOVED it! Such a fun way to kick up the energy and start the party. The mariachi band and strings were so spot on and professional. Had no issues with either and really enjoyed working with Vicky. "From the moment we first made contact with Soulstice, Vicky and Chris were so helpful in planning the perfect ceremony. The bride and I live in Florida so communications were a vital part in our preparation and planning. Vicky and the band made it clear that we could contact them via phone or email at any hour of the day. The band even learned a few songs outside of their playlists to give the bride and me a beautiful experience, being able to celebrate and dance to some of our favorite songs. From the start of the ceremony, to the end of the night, Vicky and the band guided us through the best night of our lives. The dance floor was packed all night, and there was never a dull moment. Wedding Reception Dinner & Dancing

We don't have to tell you that music can make an immense contribution to a wedding celebration. Music encompasses everything you have planned and can make or break an event. You may have forgotten many details of the receptions you have attended in the past , but we doubt that you forgot if there was good music and a great party. That is why we suggest you ask the local wedding vendors and hotel sales staff who they recommend for music. By the time we meet with clients we usually hear "everyone recommended you." Great live music brings a special energy to a party. Our acclaimed band SOULSTICE is the popular choice, and we invite you to visit their website to see, hear and read about the band. If a live band is not within your budget or preference, then our Absolute DJ Service will spark the party playing your favorites. We also do events combining both live music and DJ. In any case we will plan out the reception music and events with you, and produce a typed Agenda from which we will MC your event smoothly and professionally.

Pre & Post Wedding Events (Welcoming Party, Rehearsal Dinner  Post Wedding Brunch)

When getting together with family and friends prior to the wedding day we often supply local music that adds an exotic ingredient as many of your guests may be experiencing Santa Fe for the first lime - Mariachi bands or Spanish guitarists, Flamenco guitar, Flamenco Dance Show,  Cuban Music, Native Dance Shows or an intimate jazz group. Whatever you wish we can supply your Live Music.
